Love
Pleiades Poem
Love
Leaves everlasting scars,
Largely self-inflicted;
Less painful with time, but
Lamentations still thrive;
Languishing in a haze.
Lost, until a brighter
Light, mends ones’ broken heart.

Thank you for the inspiration of a new poetry form Krystal Mossbarger.
A Pleiades Poem is a form that has a single word for the title, followed by seven, six-syllable lines; representing the star cluster in the constellation Taurus. The first word of each line must begin with the same starting letter as that of the title.
